TSG staff was responsible for the implementation of a Document Control System for the LADWP Castaic Lake Project. TSG analyzed the existing documentation and system capabilities and requirements, projected future capacities and requirements, and integrated both components into a functional, comprehensive, and expandable document control system spanning the life of the project.

Metropolitan Water District, Business Outreach Program Benchmarking Project

TSG performed assessment of the Business Outreach Program for the Metropolitan Water District (MWD). In this capacity, TSG reviewed the MWD Business Outreach Policy and related state and federal laws and regulations. In addition, TSG provided independent cost assessment of large-scale construction projects performed by the MWD, and reviewed the vendor database utilized by the MWD to assess its application in providing relevant information, eventually making recommendations to enhance the database.

Metropolitan Water District, Strategic Planning

TSG was an integral part of a team that assisted the Southern California Metropolitan Water District (MWD) Board of Directors, staff and its member agencies in preparing a strategic plan to guide MWD into the 21st century. TSG staff managed the segment of the team responsible for identifying stakeholders, conducting personal interviews and public meetings as well as data evaluation and reporting. These reports helped MWD to assess its current operating environment and its public perception, as well as providing MWD with the informational tools to refine their business model. TSG staff was responsible for the development, coordination and execution of public and stakeholder workshops which were conducted in the Los Angeles and San Diego areas.
